Apparently being benched in Super Bowl LII didn't impact Malcolm Butler getting paid.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Butler will be signing with the Titans and will be getting a five-year deal worth more than $61 million with more than $30 million guaranteed. He will join former Patriots teammate Logan Ryan, who signed there last offseason.

Last year Butler was upset he didn't get Stephon Gilmore-like money from the Patriots, but this is pretty close.

This is a huge pay increase for the 27-year-old, who made just under $4 million in 2017.

The Patriots were never expected to retain Butler after his up-and-down season and then being benched in Super Bowl LII.
