Although wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell returned to practice this week, he will not play against the Jets.

The Patriots did not make any transactions on Saturday, according to the NFL transaction wire, meaning Mitchell remains on injured reserve and will not be activated to the 53-man roster this week. New England has two more weeks to activate him or else he will remain on injured reserve.

For wide outs, the Patriots have Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan (questionable, shoulder), Phillip Dorsett and Kenny Britt on the current depth chart for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Jets.

With a win, the Patriots will clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
