Could there be another set of brothers on the Patriots?

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, following Michael Bennett reportedly being dealt to the Patriots from the Eagles, Martellus is interested in coming out of retirement to join his brother in New England.

They could potentially join the McCourtys, Gronkowskis and Hollisters as brothers to play for the Patriots in recent years.

Martellus is no stranger to the Patriots, as he won a Super Bowl with them in his only full season with the team (2016). He was also with the team briefly in 2017 after being released by the Packers, but then was almost immediately placed on injured reserve. He retired after the season.

In 2016, Bennett had 55 catches for 701 yards and seven touchdowns.

The move would likely make some sense for the Patriots, as they certainly need help at tight end even if Rob Gronkowski returns. Bennett seemed to have a good relationship with both Tom Brady and Bill Belichick during his time with the organization.

Stay tuned.
