Over the weekend, Matt Patricia and the Lions signed former Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount, and now this week Patricia is continuing to give some former Patriots a look.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the Lions and defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois are working on a deal.

The 31-year-old was cut four times by three different teams in 2017, but finally found a spot with the Patriots towards the end of the year, playing in six regular-season games and three playoff games.

Patricia and the Lions are also said to be interested in another former Patriots defensive tackle.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Lions are expected to host Alan Branch for a visit.

Branch was actually jumped on the Patriots' depth chart last season by Jean Francois, as he didn't play in a single playoff game.

It's a not a surprise Patricia is targeting former Patriots as he knows them very well.
