Things are not going well for Matt Patricia in Detroit.

Not only did his team get blown out by the Jets on Monday Night Football in his debut, apparently his coaching style isn't connecting well with some veteran players.

"Up there in Detroit, Matt Patricia went really hard on these guys in camp,” NFL Media's Mike Garafolo said on Good Morning Football Tuesday. “There was a lot of contact there. There’s a lot of harsh criticism from what I am told. There’s not a lot of ‘Hey, good job,’ there’s a lot of ‘Hey, bad job, bleepity bleepity bleepity bleep.’ Matt Patricia is trying to establish some kind of a culture there, and the veterans are not very happy. … It’s more about what Bill Belichick did in New England and Matt Patricia wanted to take that there.”

One of the many changes is players are no longer allowed to take photos in the locker room and post to social media.

Things don't get any easier as the Lions travel to San Francisco this week and then host the Patriots in Week 3 on Sunday Night Football.
