FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots began their preparations for the Cowboys Wednesday afternoon with a practice session on the upper grass fields behind Gillette Stadium, which was held in cold, rainy conditions.

Listen to your team news NOW.

There was one player missing -- wide receiver Mohamed Sanu.

Sanu appeared to suffer an ankle injury in Sunday's win over the Eagles, needing to get it re-taped on the sideline during the game. While he didn't miss much action, he appeared to lose some explosiveness.

Patrick Chung and Damien Harris were both present after not making the trip. In addition, there was a new No. 10, likely a new addition to the practice squad.

The first injury report of the week will be released later in the day.
