FOXBORO -- There will be a good amount of players not playing in Thursday's preseason game, but we may know four for sure based on missing Wednesday's joint walkthrough.

Linebacker Shea McClellin, cornerback Eric Rowe, wide receiver Matthew Slater and tight end Matt Lengel all were not spotted at the 90-minute session, which took place Wednesday morning on the grass fields behind Gillette Stadium.  These players are almost locks to not see any action.

Running back Mike Gillislee, wide receiver Cody Hollister, tight end James O’Shaughnessy, safety David Jones and tackle Nate Solder spent the morning working on the lower field, as did linebacker Dont’a Hightower (PUP), defensive tackle Alan Branch (PUP) and offensive lineman Andrew Jelks (non-football injury list). During the session Tony Garcia appeared to leave the field as well.

Don't expect these players to play in the game as well.

Thursday's game will kickoff at 7:30.
