After a few weeks of back-and-forth, it appears Marcus Smart officially will be back with the Celtics.

According to Yahoo! Sports' Shams Charania, Smart has agreed to a four-year, $52 million deal to stay with the Celtics, which comes out to $13 million a season. He was a restricted free agent.

The Celtics extended a $6.05 million qualifying offer to Smart on June 29, but the guard was reportedly hurt he didn't get more interest from the team and a new deal then. Apparently, things have changed since.

Smart, who is one of the best defenders in the league, appeared in 54 games last season and averaged 10.2 points a game.
