As we all know, one of the biggest storylines with the Patriots this offseason was the relationship between Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.

Belichick made his first appearance on Ordway, Merloni & Fauria Monday afternoon as part of Patriots Monday, and he was asked if his relationship with Brady has changed at all.

“Look, 19 years is 19 years," Belichick said. "Any relationship is going to evolve over that period of time, which ours has. We still do basically the same things we've done for quite a period of time now. I don't see that changing.”

A follow-up question was asked regarding any friction between the two.

"I have a good relationship with Tom," he said. "I have a lot of respect for Tom. We've won a lot of games together and I hope we can win some more together. I know he feels the same way.”

Belichick was also asked about some other big picture topics from the offseason, but the coach didn't want to get into them.

On Alex Guerrero and a potential role change this year: "I am not going to get into the responsibilities of all the people who don't work in our organization."

On decision to bench Malcolm Butler in Super Bowl: “Yeah, I have already addressed that question, so really I am focused on this year and this training camp. I am trying to get the 2018 better. Not some other year, some other game, something that happened last year, five years ago, 20 years ago. I think we’re past all that. That was done a long time ago.”

On Lane Johnson's recent comments on Patriots/preseason: "I haven't really followed it. I don't know."
