FOXBORO -- With the Eagles invading Gillette Stadium for the second preseason game Thursday night, Lane Johnson continues to talk about the Patriots.

Late last week, the Eagles tackle said he's been waiting for the game since the Super Bowl win.

"I'm ready," Johnson said, via KYW Newsradio. "I've been waiting on this ever since the Super Bowl was over with. It's time."

Bill Belichick was asked if he had any response to his comments, not only recently but from the entire offseason, and Belichick didn't want to go there.

"We're focused on what we're doing," he said. "We need to have a good practice today and try to improve our team today. That's what we're going to do."

The Patriots and Eagles will kick off Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
