Patriots coaching staff roles now known, including Joe Judge serving in multiple capacities

FOXBORO -- While not officially being announced by the team, the Patriots coaching staff came into focus on Friday when the assistant coaches met with the media and their roles were revealed.

While nothing is official, it would appear Bill Belichick will be serving as the defensive coordinator in addition to head coach.

Here's what the coaching staff will look like in 2019 based on what they were able to confirm to the media. 

Bill Belichick- Head coach
Josh McDaniels- Offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach
*Joe Judge- Special teams coach/wide receivers coach
Dante Scarnecchia- Offensive line coach
Ivan Fears- Running backs coach
Nick Caley- Tight ends
*Bret Bielema- Defensive line
*Mike Pellegrino- Cornerbacks
*DeMarcus Covington- Outside linebackers
*Jerod Mayo- Inside linebackers
Steve Belichick- Safeties

*New addition, or changed role
