FOXBORO -- The Patriots may need to start to be thinking of playing Sunday's game without two of their best defensive players.

Patrick Chung and Trey Flowers were both missing from the start of practice on Thursday and if they do miss the entire session it would be their second straight missed day. Both players suffered concussions in the loss to Jacksonville.

Wide receiver Josh Gordon was present for his second full day as a member of the team.

The team did make a move on the practice squad, bringing back wide out Corey Coleman, who was released to make room for Gordon, and then released running back Kenneth Farrow.

New England will practice again Friday before leaving for Detroit Saturday.
