FOXBORO -- Tom Brady's first meeting with the media this summer ended rather abruptly.

Roughly 5.5 minutes in, the quarterback was asked about some connecting his personal trainer Alex Guerrero to Julian Edelman being suspended for games for a banned substance and if he thinks that is fair?

"I have no comment, that is just ridiculous," he said. "I'm out."

Edelman has been on record saying he's been a frequent visitor to TB12 and worked with him when he was rehabbing his torn ACL last year.

The day the suspension was reported, Guerrero released a statement clearing his name.

“I’ve known Julian since his rookie year and he is a phenomenal athlete who takes his training seriously—it’s disappointing to hear today’s news,” Guerrero said in the statement. “Elite athletes sometimes work with multiple coaches and health professionals as part of their off-season training.”

“Here at our facility, we take a natural, holistic, appropriate and, above all, legal approach to training and recovery for all of our clients. And anyone who would suggest otherwise is irresponsible and just plain wrong.”
