FOXBORO -- The Patriots have been playing the disrespect card all week.

Immediately following the win over the Chargers, Tom Brady made the "everyone thinks we suck" comment and then during the week Julian Edelman has embraced it on social media, even selling "bet against us" t-shirts.

Speaking Friday, Brady was asked if he and the team really feel like they are being respected going into Sunday's AFC title game against the Chiefs.

“We’re going against a team that is the No. 1 seed in the league," he said. "I am sure there’s a lot of people that are thinking they are going to win. Everyone can have their own opinion. We certainly have an opinion and we have to go out and execute at our best in order to accomplish that. It is going to be a tough game.

"We’re not certainly expecting to go 15 minutes into the game and think that it’s over. It is going to go down to the end. They have a great team. Like I said, we feel like we have a team that can compete well against anybody. We’re going to need to play really well. That is what makes for a championship game. Hopefully we have have our best one of the year.”

The Patriots opened as three-point underdogs and it has remained that way all week.

Kickoff is set for 6:40 p.m. Sunday night.
