ATLANTA -- Tom Brady is ready for Super Bowl LIII.

In an interview for Patriots All-Access, Brady was reminded he took a nap before his first Super Bowl 17 years ago.

That won't happen this weekend.

“I probably won’t nap," he said. "We had a longer break before the warmup in that particular game, which is why I did it. I will be so excited for this one. I’ll be as fired up as ever. I really want us to go out and finish this thing and play our very best, and hopefully that is good enough.”

The 41-year-old has continued to get pestered with retirement questions, and he's shut it down every time.

“I am not understanding that," he said. "I feel like a broken record, I just want to play and I want to play well. When I can’t play well anymore, I will move on to something else — do all the chores at home like all the other dads. Until then, I will just play football, have fun and try and win some games.”

Brady will be playing in his ninth Super Bowl Sunday night.
