The Patriots' defensive coaching staff will look a lot different in 2019.

On top of Brian Flores and Josh Boyer going to Miami, another coach appears to be leaving as well.

According to Jim McBride of the Boston Globe, defensive line coach Brendan Daly will be joining the Chiefs' defensive staff. His contract with the Patriots had expired and he will leave the organization after joining it in 2014.

Daly's wife is from Kansas City, which likely factored into the move.

The only defensive position coach returning next season will be Steve Belichick, so there will be basically an entirely new defensive staff working for Greg Schiano, who was reportedly hired this week after being the defensive coordinator at Ohio State, and is a close friend of Bill Belichick.

Belichick certainly has a lot of work ahead of him finding a number of new coaches, especially since it will be hard to promote all from within.
