Tom Brady will have a familiar face to throw to next season besides Julian Edelman.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Phillip Dorsett has agreed to return to New England on a one-year deal. The 25-year-old has a chance to put up good numbers next year and then hit free agency in a better position than he did this offseason.

Dorsett had good chemistry with Tom Brady over the last two years, and finished last season with 32 catches for 290 yards and three touchdowns. Once Josh Gordon came aboard, his role was lessened and then when Gordon was suspended indefinitely in December, Dorsett couldn't seem to jump Chris Hogan on the depth chart.

The speedy wide out is primed to have his best year given it will be his second full season in the system.

It still feels like the team still needs to add a veteran wide receiver, which can still happen in the coming days.
