FOXBORO -- Rob Gronkowski has played with Tom Brady for nine seasons. Their chemistry is off the charts, and has been for several seasons now.

Sunday's AFC title game was prime example, as Gronkowski had one of his better games of the season, finishing with six catches on a season-high 11 targets for 79 yards, most of which came down the stretch when it mattered most.

Speaking Thursday, Gronkowski went in-depth on what it's like playing with Brady.

“It’s a lot of fun," he said. "The guy is just so precise with everything. Just the way he is on the field, the way he prepares, the way he goes into these games. You know every single time you are going to get the best out of him, no matter what the situations are. That is what is so great about playing with him. He makes football the best it can possibly be because you know you have a guy that knows basically every situation and he’s going to put us in the best situations every single time he steps out on the field to give us [a chance] to win every game we play.”

Gronkowski has been on record saying he doesn't want to play with any other quarterback, and that is why he nixed a trade to the Lions this past offseason by threatening to retire.

The 29-year-old reportedly likely will retire after this season after contemplating it after last year.
