FOXBORO — When N’Keal Harry enters the Gillette Stadium facility in the coming days, it won’t be the first time he’s stepped into the building.

Harry visited the Patriots as one of their top-30 visits as part of the pre-draft process.

Speaking on a conference call shortly after being picked No. 32 overall, Harry detailed what the visit was like, including being around Bill Belichick.

“What do I remember? He was a very great man,” he said. “I feel like a lot of people just think of him as just an uptight person, but he was very relatable. We were in there smiling, cracking jokes, so I got a very good vibe from him and I’m looking forward to talking to him tomorrow, as well.”

Harry added: “We were just talking, just commentating. I can’t really tell you exactly what we were talking about, but we were just having a good time just [conversing].”

It wasn’t just Belichick that made the visit go well. He said he felt like he clicked with the entire organization.

“I felt that it went really well,” Harry said. “I feel like I meshed with the coaches very well and I just feel like I fit in with the team and everything very well. … I just feel like the way I retained some of the information as far as some of the plays they were going over with me. Also, I just felt like coming in, I’ll be expected to know a lot and be prepared, and I’m ready for that.”

Given the Patriots’ depth chart at wide receiver, Harry has the opportunity to contribute from Day 1.
