The Jets have continued their recent trend of adding former Patriots.

On Monday, the Patriots released offensive tackle Calvin Anderson and wide receiver Xavier Ubosi, both UDFA's, to make room for offensive lineman Jared Veldeer and wide receiver Dontrelle Inman. And then a day later, they were both claimed off waivers by the Jets.

Anderson was officially signed May 2 with the rest of the Patriots' UDFA's, while Ubosi wasn't signed until May 6.

As it stands now, the Jets have three former Patriots on their roster --  Harvey Langi, Eric Smith and Darryl Roberts -- but there have been many more in recent years.

The Patriots' 90-man roster is currently full.
