What a past few months for the Jets, who appear to have no sense of direction.

Led by general manager Mike Maccagnan, this offseason the organization spent $191.2 million on free agents Le'Veon Bell, C.J. Mosley, Jamison Crowder and Henry Anderson, selected defensive tackle Quinnen Williams No. 3 overall in the NFL draft, and then fired Maccagnan three weeks later.

The Jets continuously denied any rift between Maccagnan and new head coach Adam Gase, and reiterated there would not be any chances, but obviously that was not the case.

Gase will now be the interim general manager, so clearly he will have a big say into who the team next hires for the job.

This serves as yet another reminder of how stable the Patriots organization has been for so long and have won 10 straight AFC East titles.
