There's officially a big-time quarterback available for NFL teams to consider.

On Monday, former Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray officially announced he's committed to football.

Murray was the No. 9 pick by the Athletics in the 2018 MLB draft and was scheduled to report to spring training this week, but now he's turned his sole attention to football and getting ready for the combine later this month.

Relating to the Patriots, they will always be interested in quarterbacks as long as Tom Brady is still on the roster since they need to find an eventual replacement. With as many draft picks as the Patriots have this year no player is off limits, so don't be surprised to see members of the organization checking out Murray over the next few weeks.
