Many key members of the NFL were in Texas this week for the NFL winter meetings.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Two of those people were Robert Kraft and Roger Goodell, and according to ESPN's Ed Werder, the pair met for a hour-long, semi-private meeting that was not part of the regular schedule of the day on Wednesday.

Given the recent issue with the Patriots videotaping the Bengals sideline, it's likely that's what was being discussed.

Later in the day, Goodell spoke to reporters and didn't have much of an update on the investigation.

“I don’t have an anticipation," he said. "We’re going to be thorough and we’re going to get all the facts and we’re going to go from there.”

Since the Patriots accepted full responsibility with what happened, it's likely a penalty will be issued and just a matter of how severe it is.
