Has Bill Belichick changed his ways and been easier on his players than in the past?

This is a question many asked this summer after the training camp sessions didn't appear as intense as in years past. Most players have said he's been the same, but appearing on Ordway, Merloni and Fauria Tuesday, veteran safety Patrick Chung acknowledged there's been a slight difference.

“As far as coaching, no. Bill is going to be Bill," Chung said. "He is going to push the players and put them in the right position to play, make sure you’re accountable and things like that. But, yeah. He’s gotten a little nice. He’s getting a little cooler as the years go by. I’ll take it.”

Chung was then reminded he's been around Belichick awhile and is older himself, as the safety is 31 years old.

“I never thought about that," he said. "Maybe I am getting older.”

While there likely is something to Chung getting older, it was interesting to hear a player acknowledge Belichick has changed a little at least in his eyes.
