On Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium where the Browns were hosting the Bengals, the Patriots' next opponent, there was some unusual activity in the press box where Patriots staffers were filming something.

The Bengals took note of this and alerted the league.

"We are aware of the incident, and we are aware it is being investigated by NFL Security. We will have no further comment," the Bengals said in a statement to MMQB's Albert Breer.

So, what exactly took place?

According to multiple reports, the Patriots were filming a "Do Your Job" feature on an advance scout. They received a credential and alerted the Browns PR staff of what they were doing. During the game, a member of the Bengals saw someone with Patriots gear filming and then alerted NFL Security. The league obtained the video after speaking with the Patriots employees.

Apparently while the Patriots alerted the Browns since it was their home game, they did not alert the NFL or the Bengals.

"The league is investigating it, so I’ve got no comment," Browns coach Zac Taylor said Monday.

The Patriots take on the Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday.
