FOXBORO -- Having been the banner captain prior to Game 2, Bill Belichick is well aware of the Bruins being in the Stanley Cup Final and now reportedly have defenseman Zdeno Chara dealing with a broken jaw, according to our own Christian Fauria.

Following minicamp practice Wednesday, Belichick was asked about the situation and he seemed confident the Bruins will handle it well.

“They have a great team. They have a great organization," he said. "He’s a great player and I am sure Coach Cassidy and their coaching staff and their players will handle it as well as they possibly can, so what exactly that is, I don’t know. I don’t know that type of situation.”

There's been no official update from the Bruins on Chara's status.

Game 5 will be Thursday at TD Garden.
