FOXBORO -- For the first time in his 10 year NFL career, Jason McCourty has won a playoff game.

When speaking in the locker room afterwards, his reaction wasn't what you might expect.

“Man, we get to come in tomorrow and dissect the film and get yelled at for whatever you did wrong," he said. "Beautiful thing at this time of year.”

While there was a hint of sarcasm, afterwards McCourty did reflect a bit on the year.

“I can’t even think about it on a personal note, I just think this season, going to battle with these guys week in and week out," he said. "Having some adverse moments and games and losing games in a row and being able to bounce back and continue to fight with guys sticking together. To come out here and win a playoff game, it’s a nice feeling.”

McCourty and his teammates will now take on the Chiefs next Sunday in the AFC championship.
