According to multiple reports, Patriots director of college scouting Monti Ossenfort will interview for the Browns' general manager position on Friday. This is his first GM interview after the Patriots denied the Texans' request a year ago.

Ossenfort is highly regarded in the Patriots' organization.

Cleveland hired former Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski as its head coach last week and reportedly is looking at Andrew Berry, the Eagles' VP of football operations and George Paton, Minnesota's assistant GM, for the general manager position as well.

Ossenfort has been with the Patriots for 16 years and is heading into his seventh as director of college scouting.
