While it seems like the Patriots will get tight end Rob Gronkowski back after the bye week, they likely will be missing another.

According to NFL Media's Mike Giardi, Dwayne Allen suffered a knee injury in Sunday's loss to the Titans. He won't need surgery, but he's expected to miss a few weeks.

This would leave the Patriots with just Gronkowski and injury-prone Jacob Hollister as tight ends on the active roster. The Patriots have games against the Jets and Vikings immediately after the bye.

Allen has only three catches on the year, but is a solid locker room guy and good blocker.
