FOXBORO -- After getting bad news just before practice with Rex Burkhead and Ja'Whaun Bentley going on injured reserve, the Patriots got some good news on the practice field.

After missing last week against the Lions with concussions, Trey Flowers and Patrick Chung returned to action. This is good news as it relates to their availability for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Dolphins at Gillette Stadium, as they were clearly missed in Detroit.

The team had perfect attendance with their new active roster, as new players Kenjon Barner and John Simon were on the field. In addition, safety David Jones replaced wide receiver Jace Billingsley on the practice squad.

New England will practice Thursday and Friday before Sunday's game against Miami.
