ATLANTA -- After having no players on the injury report the last two weeks, the Patriots have had two different players appear on it the last two days.

After being a limited participant on Wednesday, Malcom Brown (calf) practiced in full, but Dont'a Hightower (illness) was added. The linebacker missed the walkthrough at the Georgia Tech indoor practice facility.

“We’ll evaluate him tomorrow,” Bill Belichick said to MMQB's Jenny Vrentras, the AFC pool reporter.

Given the extra week of practice last week, the team didn't feel like it needed a normal Thursday session.

“We got a lot out of the walkthrough today and were able to run more plays at a slower tempo,” Belichick said. “So that’s the advantage. Practicing [at full speed] you get better tempo, you just get fewer plays.”

The Patriots will practice again on Friday.
