The Patriots were scheduled to have their final two OTA sessions of the spring on Monday and Tuesday, but the Patriots announced early Monday morning that they have been canceled.

Although the team will likely hold team-building activities instead, like last year when it went to Fenway Park, the next time the team is on the field will be for training camp in late July.

In total, the Patriots practiced eight times this spring, including five OTA sessions and three days of mandatory minicamp.

This continues a trend of teams around the league canceling the final sessions of the spring, and Bill Belichick has recently joined in.
