FOXBORO -- After an extended break because of the Thursday game, the Patriots returned to the practice field on Tuesday on the upper grass field behind Gillette Stadium.

There was perfect attendance, which means Malcom Brown and John Simon were present after leaving last week's game due to injury. Also on the field was Eric Rowe, who has missed the last three games due to a groin injury.

In addition, there was a new running back, No. 37, who will likely fill the last spot on the practice squad.

New England will practice three more times before hosting the Chiefs Sunday night. Also, because it is Tuesday there will be no injury report from the team.
