The Patriots clearly are in the market for a quarterback in the 2018 draft, but have kept their workouts close to the vest -- until Wednesday.

According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, the Patriots have quietly been conducting private workouts leading up to the draft with quarterbacks, including Richmond’s Kyle Lauletta and Washington State’s Luke Falk. Both players are expected to go in the middle rounds.

Lauletta has strong Navy connections as his father was a quarterback there in the 1980's, and his uncle played there as well. He also played lacrosse in high school. Falk has been a die-hard Brady fan since he was growing up and has even started dabbling into the TB12 Method.

Other quarterbacks who reportedly have worked out privately for the Patriots are Mason Rudolph and Mike White.

The Patriots have two first-round picks and two second-round picks in next week's draft.
