The Patriots had three open roster spots going into Tuesday, and now they have filled all three.

After signing two receivers, the Patriots will sign running back Kenjon Barner, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss

In addition to offense, Barner also has a lot of experience returning punts, which the team needs help with after releasing Riley McCarron. Last year with the Eagles, he returned 27 punts for 240 yards. Barner has bounced around a bit, but has spent most of his career with the Eagles. Overall, he has rushed for 317 yards on 77 carries.

The 28-year-old signed with the Panthers in May, but was released on cut-down weekend.

Don't be surprised if he's active Sunday in Jacksonville returning punts.
