Patriots rookie receiver Braxton Berrios missed the final three preseason games with an unknown injury, and now it seems like he will miss the whole season.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Berrios will be placed on injured reserve.

This didn't come as a major surprise given he missed the last three games (although he dressed for the last one), and there are a few players ahead of him on the wide receiver depth chart. This will give him a chance to learn in the classroom and compete for a spot next summer.

It would appear Riley McCarron will be the final receiver to make the team, although there's always a chance the team adds a player from outside the organization.
