Patriots cutdown day tracker: All the moves in one place

One of the busiest days of the football season is here, as by 4 p.m. the Patriots, and every other team in the league, needs to get their roster down to 53 players.

On Friday, the team started the process and released five players.

Follow this page all day for all the cuts as they come out.

11:27 a.m.: Running back Ralph Webb has been released, per source. 

11:39 a.m.: The team has reached an injury settlement with offensive lineman Luke Bowanko, according to Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

11:58 a.m.: Safety Damarius Travis has been released, per source.

12:00 p.m.: According to Chris Price of the Boston Sports Journal, offensive lineman Ulrick John has a torn tendon in his foot that will require surgery, and is expected to be out for the year. He suffered the injury in the preseason finale and was in the mix for the final spot on the offensive line.

12:40 p.m.: Outside linebacker/defensive end Eric Lee has been cut, according to Kevin Duffy of the Boston Herald.

12:42 p.m.: Defensive lineman John Atkins has been release, per NESN's Doug Kyed.

12:50 p.m.: Patriots intend on placing rookie tight end Ryan Izzo on injured reserve, per ESPN's Mike Reiss.

1:00 p.m.: According to a source, third-round pick Vincent Valentine has been let go.

1:13 p.m.: Wide receiver K.J. Maye has been released, per multiple reports.

1:36 p.m.: In the biggest move thus far, second-round pick Cyrus Jones has been release, per Jeff Howe of The Athletc.

2:00 p.m.: Rookie wide out Braxton Berrios reportedly is going on injured reserve.

2:15 p.m.: According to a source, at least health-wise rookie DB Duke Dawson is "good to go" for Week 1. He's missed extended time of late, but it would appear he will be on the 53-man roster.

2:20 p.m.: Running back Mike Gillislee has been released, per source.

3:18 p.m.: The Athletic's Jeff Howe reports cornerback Jomal Wiltz has been released.

3:20 p.m.: According to multiple reports, rookie punter Corey Bojorquez has been waived.

3:25 p.m.: Rookie quarterback Danny Etling has been released, according to Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal.

3:30 p.m.: According to NESN's Doug Kyed, safety A.J. Moore has been released.

4:05 p.m.: Offensive lineman Ted Karras has made the team, per source.

4:06 p.m.: Linebacker Marquis Flowers has been released, according to the Boston Herald's Karen Guregian.

4:33 p.m.: Offensive lineman Matt Tobin has been cut, per Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

5:00 p.m.: According to multiple reports, linebacker Harvey Langi has been released, but could be back on the practice squad.

5:20 p.m.: According to ESPN's Field Yates, Brandon Bolden has been cut and wide receiver Riley McCarron waived.

5:22 p.m.: Tight end Will Tye has been let go, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
