The Patriots continue to look at new players to potentially add to their roster.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the team brought in two players for workouts Monday -- tight end Stephen Anderson and offensive tackle Eric Smith.

In two seasons with the Texans, Anderson played in 28 games and totaled 36 receptions for 435 yards and two touchdowns. He started five games last season.

Smith was an undrafted free agent picked up by the Dolphins last year. After making the 53-man roster, he was placed on injured reserve on October 3, but returned in late December. He was waived this past weekend.

[UPDATE: 9:00 p.m.]: The Patriots have added Smith to their practice squad, per source.
