A day after losing to the Lions, the Patriots hosted a few players for workouts.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, quarterback Landry Jones, cornerback David Amerson and wide receiver Dontrelle Inman were all in Foxboro on Monday.

All three players have experience in the league.

Following five years in Pittsburgh, Jones was released at the end of training camp this summer. Amerson was a second-round pick in 2013 and has spent time with the Raiders, Redskins and Chiefs. Most recently he was released by the Chiefs at the end of training camp. Finally, Inman's best season came in 2016 when he finished with 810 yards receiving with the Chargers.

As always, this is a case of the Patriots doing their due diligence.
