The Patriots continue to bring in free agents for workouts.

According to veteran NFL reporter Howard Balzer, New England had four players in for tryouts Monday, including three wide outs. The players were receivers Corey Coleman, Bennie Fowler and Greg Ward, and also linebacker Ufomba Kamalu.

Coleman was reported earlier in the day, and given the news the team released two receivers, it's not a surprise there were more. Fowler spent three years with the Broncos, totaling 56 catches for 698 yards and five touchdowns. He signed a one-year deal with the Bears this offseason, but was waived on cut-down weekend.

Ward was on the Eagles' practice squad last season.

If any of these workouts went well, it would not be a surprise to see one of them on the practice field Wednesday given there's just three receivers on the depth chart.
