As is the case with most teams during the early part of the year, they are busy hosting players for workouts.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Patriots hosted four defensive players on Tuesday, including defensive tackle Michael Bennett, defensive end Ryan Delaire, defensive end John Simon and linebacker Azeem Victor.

Simon may be the biggest name of the bunch as the veteran has played in 54 games between three teams. His best season came in 2015 when he had five sacks with the Texans. He was released by the Colts at the end of the summer.

Bennett, who is out of Ohio State, has battled injuries over his career and was released earlier in the month by the Jaguars. Delaire went undrafted out of Towson in 2015 and has spent time with the Buccaneers, Redskins, Panthers and Colts. Victor was a sixth-round pick of the Raiders, but was cut at the end of training camp before signing to Tampa Bay's practice squad.
