Following the news of Julian Edelman reportedly missing at least the first three weeks of training camp with a thumb injury, the team is looking into adding an extra body or two.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the team worked out four wide receivers on Monday, including Nick Williams, Justin Hunter, Papi White and Travin Dural.

Hunter is the player with the most experience as the 28-year-old has been in the league for five years and has spent time with three teams. Most recently, he's been with the Steelers and finished last year with just three catches for 21 yards in 11 games.

His best season came back in 2014 when he recorded 28 catches for 498 yards and three touchdowns with the Titans.

The Patriots open training camp Thursday at Gillette Stadium.
