Patriots reportedly extend CB Jonathan Jones through 2022

According to multiple reports, the Patriots have extended cornerback Jonathan Jones through the 2022 season. ESPN's Mike Reiss adds it is a three-year extension with a base average of $7 million per season.

Jones was one of the Patriots' best players this summer and he has really elevated his game the past few seasons.

Not only is Jones one of the Patriots' best cornerbacks, he can also contribute on special teams.

Jones was signed as an undrafted rookie in 2016.
