FOXBORO -- It appears Sony Michel is progressing nicely towards a return.

After participating in last Saturday's practice, the Patriots rookie was back again on Wednesday, the first session of the week prior to Sunday's game against the Packers. New England had only two active backs against the Bills in James White and Kenjon Barner. Michel injured his knee against the Bears.

Wednesday's session was a walkthrough in sweats, so there were no numbers which made taking attendance hard to take.

After getting injured Monday, Elandon Roberts was present, while Shaq Mason was not spotted. In addition, Julian Edelman was also not seen.

It's worth noting this is unofficial and the injury report will come out later in the day.

New England will practice again Thursday and Friday.
