The Patriots continued to do their due diligence on a few players Friday when they had five players in for tryouts, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.

Of those five, three were offensive linemen: guard Tony Adams, guard Spencer Drango and center Jake Eldrenkamp. The others were defensive backs Kalan Reed and Josh Robinson.

Drango is the biggest name of the bunch as he had a good college career at Baylor and may be most known for having back surgery for a ruptured disk his sophomore year and some told him he would never play football again. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2016 draft by the Browns and has played in all 16 games each of the last two seasons, including 19 starts. He was waived last week.

Again, nothing is imminent with these players, but in case of an emergency the team has an idea of who they are.
