FOXBORO -- Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman made it perfectly clear what he wants to see in the World Series.

Dodgers vs. Red Sox.

“I hate the Dodgers," Edelman said. “I hate the Dodgers. I am a San Francisco guy, so it is like Boston and New York diet over there. I hope they do make it and the Sox pound them.”

Edelman grew up in northern California and remains loyal to his roots. The wide out has shown his support of the Red Sox this postseason, including attending one of the ALDS games against the Yankees.

The Dodgers are currently ahead of the Brewers 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. Game 6 is set for Friday night, while Game 1 of the World Series will be Tuesday night at Fenway Park.
