After having only one active tight end last week against the Bears, the Patriots will have just two active running backs Monday night against the Bills.

New England did not promote Kenneth Farrow from the practice squad, which means with Sony Michel (knee) out, the only active backs will be James White and Kenjon Barnes.

Other inactive players for the Patriots are: tight end Jacob Hollister, offensive lineman Brian Schwenke, cornerback Eric Rowe, defensive end Geneo Grissom, offensive lineman Marcus Cannon and Dont'a Hightower.

Every player except for Hightower was ruled out prior to Monday. This is Hightower's first game missed this season. He was questionable with a knee injury that came up this week. As expected, Rob Gronkowski is active after missing last week against the Bears.

With only two active backs, expect Tom Brady to spread the field and try and pick apart the Bills defense.

New England has won 31 of the last 36 meetings against Buffalo.
