Houston will not be coming to Gillette Stadium.

The Colts remained red-hot as they blew out the Texans, 21-7 in Houston Saturday afternoon in the first AFC wild card game to advance to the divisional round. As the highest remaining seed (No. 6), they will now play the Chiefs next week at Arrowhead Stadium.

Andrew Luck threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns, while the Colts defense held DeShaun Watson in check making it tough for him all game long. The Texans went 3-for-13 on third down, while the Colts went 9-for-13.

As it relates to the Patriots, they will now have to wait until Sunday afternoon when the Chargers take on the Ravens in Baltimore to know who they will play next week. The winner of this game will come to Foxboro. These two teams met just a few weeks ago on the West Coast and the Ravens came away with a 22-10 win.

The Patriots did not play either of those teams in the regular season.

New England’s divisional round game will take place Sunday, Jan. 13 at 1:05 p.m.
