Patriots reportedly work out 2 players, host three-time special teams Pro Bowler

Even on a short week, the Patriots are still bringing in players for looks.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Patriots brought in special teamer Justin Bethel for a visit, and worked out offensive tackle Aaron Monteiro and wide receiver Malik Henry on Tuesday.

Bethel is the biggest name, as the 29-year-old has made the Pro Bowl three times as a special teams player. Most recently, he was released by the Ravens Oct. 21. Bethel has played for three NFL teams, but is primarily known for his time in Arizona from 2012-17.

The Patriots do have an open spot on their practice squad.

UPDATE: The Patriots have reportedly signed Bethel.
