It's unclear whether or not Tom Brady will return to the Patriots for 2020, but if he does, Randy Moss wants the team to get him some help.

Listen to your team news NOW.

On ESPN Sunday morning, Moss went on a long rant regarding what Brady had to work with this season, implying he would have been much better if he had a better surrounding cast.

“It’s not all about Tom Brady," Moss said. "At 42 years old, two or three-year deal, he’s still playing at a high level. What I talk about is the guys on that offense that did not step up in big situations — (Mohamed) Sanu, (Phillip) Dorsett, (Julian) Edelman dropping the ball — he led the league in drops this year. So when you look at Tom Brady possibly coming back to be the Patriots quarterback to finish off his career, man, get him some help. That is the biggest thing I can tell you.

"They tried to bring Antonio Brown in because they knew they needed a No. 1 receiver when Gronk retired. Tom Brady needs some help wherever he goes. If he is going to be the Patriots’ quarterback and finish out his career, get this man some help because the guys that they have there are not guys that he wants.”

Against the Titans in the Wild Card loss, Patriots wideouts finished with seven catches for 68 yards. Over the last four games of the season, Patriots wide receivers had 37 receptions. To put that into perspective, there was a four-game stretch earlier in the year when Edelman had 34 on his own.

It's going to be an interesting offseason in New England and no matter what happens with Brady, the Patriots certainly need to look to upgrade their weapons on offense.
